The variety belongs to the subspecies Festuca rubra var. rubra and is characterized by a developed rhizome system, ensuring dense soil coverage. The plant possesses fine, dark green leaves and is distinguished by slow growth, which allows for a reduction in mowing frequency.
The variety demonstrates high drought tolerance, heat tolerance, and winter hardiness, and is also adapted to shading and soil salinity conditions. It possesses moderate resistance to trampling and complex resistance to common grass diseases, including brown patch, dollar spot, red thread, and pythium blight.
The plant belongs to the low-maintenance category, requiring moderate irrigation and fertilization. It allows for mowing at a height starting from 10 mm. When sowing, a seeding rate of 15–25 g/m² is recommended, and up to 30 g/m² for overseeding.
