The variety belongs to the Chewings fescue (Festuca rubra commutata) subspecies. The plant does not form aggressive underground shoots and develops dense bunches, which ensures high turf cover density.

The variety is used as a lawn grass for creating elite and classic turf due to its fine leaf texture. The plant is capable of adapting to conditions with reduced light, low soil nutrient content, and tolerating moderate stress loads.
