The variety is an evergreen tree or shrub with glossy, leathery, oblong-oval leaves. The leaf coloration is variegated, with a deep green central part and an irregular light green or cream margin along the edge. The venation is pinnate and clearly defined.
The plant has a dense crown with thin, often drooping shoots. In indoor conditions, it is capable of reaching a height of 1.5–2 meters with a fast growth rate. Regular pruning is required to maintain a decorative shape.
The variety is sensitive to lighting: with a lack thereof, the variegation of the leaves loses its brightness, so the plant needs bright but diffused light. Compared to the «Regidan» variety, «Anastasia» is distinguished by a pronounced waviness of the leaf edge and stability of coloration with age.
