The Bundy variety is classified as a decorative indoor plant. Its key morphological feature is its very dark green leaves.

The plant is sold in pots with a diameter of 17 cm, with a total height of approximately 50–70 cm. Specimens with a braided trunk, known as Twisted Stem, are encountered in trade.
