Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a bifera and produces two harvests per season. The first crop (fioroni) ripens in the first half of July; the fruits have an elongated shape with a distinct neck. The main crop (forniti) ripens from the end of August to the end of September and consists of smaller, rounded fruits.

The fruits have a thin black-purple skin, on which longitudinal cracks may appear during ripening. The pinkish-amber or reddish pulp has a dense consistency and a sweet taste, suitable for fresh consumption.

The tree is of medium vigor and forms an open spreading crown with three- and five-lobed leaves. The variety is characterized as hardy and rustic, adapted to adverse conditions, and does not require specific treatments against parasites or intensive pruning.
