Variety description

The variety is a natural bud mutation of Violette de Bordeaux. The plant reaches a height of 0.9 to 1.5 meters and has a dense bushy crown with deeply lobed dark green leaves. The variety is characterized as a dwarf form with shortened internodes.
The fruits are medium-sized, conical in shape, with dark violet or purple-brown skin and amber-red flesh with a sweet taste. The variety is parthenocarpic, bears fruit on current year's growth, in two waves. The plant withstands temperatures down to -15 °C and exhibits resistance to diseases and pests.
