The variety is one of the earliest and has been historically known since the 17th century. The name indicates the possibility of obtaining two harvests: in mid-June and in mid-September. The tree is of medium size, reaching a height of about 4 meters in open field.

The fruits have a rounded shape, medium size, and a golden-brown skin color. The pulp is juicy, sweet, fragrant, with a pinkish hue. The fruit skin is thin.

The variety belongs to hardiness zone 7 and higher, which allows it to be cultivated in open field in a number of European regions. The plant is suitable for fan training against walls or for container gardening.
