The variety originates from Spain, from the island of Mallorca. The tree has good vigor, leaves are three- or five-lobed. It belongs to unifera types that do not require pollination. The appearance of the fruits is characterized by a striped coloration that changes during the ripening process, passing through shades of red, purple, and orange.

Fruit weight is approximately 38–40 g, sugar content on the Brix scale is estimated at about 28. The flesh has a dense jam-like texture and a pronounced berry or wine-honey flavor. The fruits are resistant to cracking from excessive moisture.
