The Laščica variety (also known by the synonyms Čiblica, Guštoža, Laškica, Laštica and Zamorčica) is a uniferous variety that produces one crop per season. Fruiting occurs regularly and abundantly in the period from mid-August to the end of September.
The plant is self-fertile. Morphologically, the leaves are characterized by a low degree of lobing, with entire leaf blades sometimes occurring. Historically, the variety is grown in family gardens, often interplanted with olive trees, and is intended for fresh consumption.
