Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is an evergreen ground-cover perennial that forms dense cushion-like bushes 10–15 cm in height. The leaf blades are lanceolate or oval in shape and reach 4–7.5 cm in length. The main leaf color is dark green or almost black, and the surface is adorned with distinct veins of a purple-red hue.

The variety is demanding regarding growing conditions, requiring consistently high air humidity and protection from direct sunlight. Stagnant water or poor ventilation may lead to root rot and leaf spots. Its natural growth habit is creeping, which makes the variety convenient for interior decoration in glass vessels.
