The cultivar is a low-growing plant 15–30 cm in height with creeping, branching stems that form a dense mat. The leaves are dark emerald in color with slightly wavy edges. The leaf blade surface is covered with a distinct reticulated pattern of veins colored in red, pink, salmon, or white, depending on the variation.

The plant is a specialized ornamental crop requiring conditions close to tropical, including high air humidity (more than 60–70%) and constant substrate moisture. The cultivar tolerates soil drying and exposure to direct sunlight poorly. It is propagated vegetatively by cuttings to preserve varietal characteristics.
