The variety is intended for cultivation to obtain a thickened stem base. Studies of the essential oil composition show that its main component is trans-anethole. Growing cycles of the variety can reach 150 days.

In comparative phytopathological studies, the variety showed increased resistance to stem necrosis and umbel browning compared to a number of other cultivars.
