The variety belongs to the mid-season group of vegetable crops. The period from germination to harvest is 80–90 days. The plant forms feathery green leaves and white pseudostems ("bulbs") of spherical or elongated shape.

The produce is distinguished by a delicate taste with a pronounced anise aroma and is suitable for raw or heat-processed consumption. The pseudostems of the variety are characterized by resistance to cracking. Intended for cultivation in open field during the spring-summer and autumn periods.
