The variety belongs to type a2 in the vegetable fennel classification. In comparative trials focusing on seed productivity, the plant showed later flowering compared to the Sirio variety and the lowest seed weight among the studied samples.

In scientific papers analyzing the content of phenolic compounds and flavonoids in various plant varieties, this variety (sometimes referred to as Tusco 2) was used as a reference for comparing biochemical indicators.
