The variety is very early, with fruiting beginning at the end of May. The plant forms a medium-sized or vigorous bush with a spreading habit and produces numerous runners. The yield of the variety is lower than that of modern commercial counterparts.
Fruits from the first harvests have a conical shape and medium size; subsequent berries become small and acquire a rounded shape. The flesh is loose; the berries are intended for fresh consumption and are poorly suited for processing.
The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness and relatively high resistance to gray mold and nematodes. At the same time, it is susceptible to Verticillium wilt and damage by the strawberry mite.
