Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the group of day-neutral plants. Under California conditions, it is capable of yielding a crop over five months, starting approximately three months after planting. Compared to the Selva variety, neutrality in Aptos is more pronounced: daughter plants (runners) are prone to intensive flowering and fruiting.

The variety gained popularity in both commercial production and amateur gardening due to its extended fruiting period and taste qualities. At present, the variety is rarely used in commercial production, having been replaced by more modern hybrids.
