The variety is late-maturing and ripens 5–7 days later than the Cardinal variety. Plants are characterized by vigorous growth and high runner-forming capacity. The variety was created for adaptation to the conditions of the state of Arkansas and was considered promising for once-over mechanized harvesting.
Berries are large, firm, and medium red in color. The variety possesses resistance to leaf spot, leaf scorch, powdery mildew, and five races of Phytophthora root rot. The fruits are suitable for both the fresh market and industrial processing. According to breeder classification, it is a June-bearing variety.
