The variety was obtained by crossing the Earliglow and Kent varieties. The plants are characterized by high growth vigor and active runner formation. The medium-sized berries have a glossy surface, red color, firm flesh, and a balanced sugar-acid ratio with a high content of soluble solids.
The variety possesses resistance to Phytophthora root rot caused by Phytophthora fragariae, due to the presence of the Rpf1 resistance gene.
