The variety was obtained in 2003 in California by crossing two proprietary lines, «122J81» and «111H69». Selection was carried out based on indicators of high yield, flavor characteristics, and marketability of the produce.
The plant is mid-season. The inflorescences rise above the leaf rosette, and the formation of stolons is very weak or absent. The flowers are larger than those of the «San Juan» variety.
The fruits are small in size, of firm consistency, with a glossy surface. A characteristic feature is the almost complete absence of an achene-free band on the fruit surface.
