The taste profile is distinguished by sweetness, low acidity, and an aroma reminiscent of pineapple or apricot. The flesh texture is softer than that of red varieties. Yield is approximately 75% of standard red-fruited varieties, and the variety shows some susceptibility to fruit anthracnose.
The variety is intended for commercial cultivation as a niche product for retail and food service. It is suitable for long-distance transport and is also found under the trade names Pinkaboo and Berry De Blanc.
