The variety, also known by the trade name Brilliance or Florida Brilliance, was obtained by crossing lines FL 11.31-14 and FL 10-153. The plant is vigorous, intended for commercial production, and allows for the harvesting of marketable produce at early dates.
The berries are characterized by a bright red color, pronounced gloss, and uniform shape. The fruits possess high firmness and excellent transportability. The variety exhibits high resistance to major strawberry diseases and pests, and also tolerates rainy weather well.
