The variety was created as part of the MTT Agrifood Research Finland breeding program for adaptation to harsh winters and a short growing season. The main objective during breeding was to increase resistance to diseases, in particular powdery mildew, and to improve fruit firmness.
The berries of the variety have a broad-rounded shape and are characterized by a high sugar content. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation in northern regions and is used in professional berry farms.
