The variety is the result of crossing the Amerikanischer Sämling II and Deutsch Evern varieties. The fruits are characterized by an ovate shape, and the variety itself belongs to the early maturity group.
The plant possesses high susceptibility to infestation by the nematode Aphelenchoides fragariae and sensitivity to Verticillium wilt, which causes a reduction in yield. Problems with fruit set under adverse weather conditions during flowering are also noted.
The variety was used in breeding programs as a parent component due to its early maturity. Today, it has practically gone out of circulation and is found primarily in genetic collections or historical research.
