The plant has miniature leaves. The berries are small in size and a deep dark red color both on the outside and the inside. The flesh is characterized by a soft consistency, a pronounced aroma, and a sweet taste.
The variety belongs to the early maturity group. In open field conditions, high susceptibility to red leaf spot is noted, and the soft flesh of the berries makes the variety sensitive to grey mold.
Originates from the Emilia-Romagna region. Previously, the variety was used in industrial production; at present, it is valued as a traditional variety for scientific research and the preservation of genetic resources.
