The Premier variety is a garden strawberry bred by breeders Steven D. Nelson, Michael D. Nelson, and Steven M. Ackerman. Information about the plant is limited to data from patent documentation describing technical and visual characteristics, including leaf structure and fruit shape at various stages of maturity.
This variety should not be confused with the Italian variety Primi, which is widely distributed in Russian amateur gardening. The Premier variety (Nelson & Ackerman) is not widely distributed in the RF, and the available information about it is primarily technical in nature.
