The Siris cultivar is used primarily as a maternal line in breeding programs. It served as the genetic basis for the creation of such cultivars as Melissa, Marisol, NSG 465, and NSG 9.
The fruits of the cultivar are characterized by a high sugar content. The plant possesses high resistance to crown rot caused by Phytophthora cactorum and anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum acutatum. The berry ripening period is mid-season or mid-late.
