The variety belongs to the summer-fruiting group. The fruits are characterized as medium or large in size. When grown in Florida conditions, the berries may have increased acidity if they have not reached full maturity on the plant.
The variety is adapted to the climatic conditions of the southern regions of the USA. In historical studies of the 1960s, the variety was used in experiments on the sanitation of planting material using heat treatment and meristem culture methods to control latent viral infections.
