The variety belongs to the late-ripening group. It was obtained as a result of a multi-year breeding program aimed at selecting promising genotypes for commercial use in the conditions of the Marche region.
The fruits are characterized by a high level of flavonoid content with a relatively low level of anthocyanins. Scientific publications examine the bioactivity of the variety's compounds and its potential role in protecting skin cells from UV-A radiation, as well as the plant's tolerance to grey mold infection.
