The variety was obtained as a result of a breeding program aimed at creating plants with early ripening dates. The plant belongs to the infra-short-day type, which allows it to flower at relatively high temperatures and long daylight hours.
The variety is intended for commercial cultivation, including use in greenhouses and soilless culture. It has been established that the variety may be susceptible to infection by the fungus Macrophomina phaseolina.
