The Treasure variety (US Plant Pat. No. 12,414) is characterized by large fruit size, high yield, and early maturity. This variety is the female parent for the Treasure Harvest hybrid, which belongs to the short-day varieties.
In the retail network, ornamental hybrids of the Rainbow Treasure F1 and Berried Treasure series are often found under the name Treasure. These are everbearing plants characterized by distinct ornamental qualities of the flowers (white, pink, red) and are suitable for growing in hanging baskets and containers.
