The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work by crossing the varieties Eros and EM0783. It belongs to the group of late-midseason varieties.
The plant possesses good resistance to Phytophthora crown rot and Verticillium wilt, as well as moderate resistance to powdery mildew. The variety should not be confused with the common name Victoria, used for old or unidentified varieties.
