The variety was selected in 2009 in California as a result of crossing a breeding specimen with an unknown parent component. The plant is of the day-neutral type and is adapted to the conditions of the Central Coast of California.

The fruits have a conical shape, a bright red color (according to RHS 45B classification), and a pronounced glossy sheen. The variety is characterized by moderate resistance to powdery mildew and is used both for commercial production and as genetic material for breeding.
