Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is part of the Rascal series, created by crossing Fritillaria imperialis and Fritillaria raddeana. The plant reaches a height of 60–70 cm and has strong, upright dark brown stems and dark green lanceolate leaves. The orange-red or yellow-orange bell-shaped flowers are gathered in a crown beneath a terminal tuft of leaves.

The plant is intended for open field, container gardening, and cut flowers. Flowering occurs during the period from April to May. The variety has high winter hardiness, corresponding to zones 3–4b, and is resistant to lodging caused by wind. It requires well-drained soil to protect the bulbs from rotting.
