Variety description

The plant stem is thick, upright, 80–100 cm tall. Lanceolate leaves are arranged in whorls of 4–8. Large bell-shaped nodding flowers are gathered in an umbellate inflorescence of 3–5 at the top of the stem. The petal color is saturated orange with a reddish shade.

The plant is intended for decorative use in flower beds, mixed borders, and landscape design; it is also suitable for cutting. The flowering period lasts from April to June. The variety is winter-hardy, corresponding to USDA zone 4–5, and possesses relative resistance to pests and drought after rooting. Bulbs require well-drained soil and planting at a depth of 20–25 cm.
