The variety forms a compact clump 45 to 60 cm tall, in some cases up to 1 m. The leaves are gray-green, pubescent, and lanceolate in shape. A characteristic feature is the pinwheel-shaped tubular flowers, colored lemon-yellow with a darker reddish-brown center.

The plant belongs to perennial crops with a long flowering period from early summer to autumn. The variety possesses drought tolerance, heat tolerance, and the ability to grow in poor, dry, well-drained soils. Stems generally do not require support; the plant is resistant to diseases and pests.

Used in ornamental gardening for border landscaping, container cultivation, and cutting. Helps attract pollinators, such as bees and butterflies. Propagated vegetatively.
