Variety description

The plant forms a compact, dense bush with densely arranged opposite leaves of lanceolate or elliptical shape in a dark green or glaucous-green shade. The flowers resemble tulip buds in shape and have a violet-blue color.
Flowering lasts from June or July to September, ranging from 8 to 12 weeks. The variety has winter hardiness in USDA zones 4–5 and resistance to certain pests.
Cultivation requires sunny or semi-shaded areas with humus-rich, moderately moist, drained soil with an acidic or neutral pH level.
