The plant forms a dense basal rosette of green pinnatisect leaves. The height of the rosette is 15–30 cm, total height including flower stalks reaches 30–50 cm. In regions with a mild climate, foliage may persist throughout the winter period.
Flowers are bright orange with a possible scarlet tint on the edges of the petals, acquiring a yellowish-orange color as they fade. Flowering begins in late spring and continues until mid-summer; with the removal of spent inflorescences, repeat flowering is possible until September. The variety is sterile and does not form seeds.
The plant is distinguished by sturdy flower stalks and resistance to lodging. The variety is frost-hardy (USDA zones 5–9) and possesses resistance to Verticillium wilt. Suitable for cutting, planting in borders, containers, and rock gardens.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
