The Hipokrates variety was developed by specialists at the Poznań University of Life Sciences. Plants are grown on specialized plantations for harvesting leaves used in pharmaceutical research.
The leaves of the variety are analyzed for flavonoid and terpene lactone content, as well as for the presence of antioxidant properties. Studies cover the harvest periods of green foliage in August and yellowing foliage in October to assess metabolite dynamics.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
