The variety «Wiener Walzer» is a breeding form selected from a group of Ginkgo biloba seedlings. In literature, it may be mentioned as a synonym for «Hettich» or «Hetlich».
The tree is distinguished by a compact habit and short branches. The crown shape is predominantly spherical, with branches prone to a weeping habit, which gives the plant an umbrella-like appearance, although in the initial stages of development the tree may grow vertically.
The variety is intended exclusively for use in landscape design for decorative purposes. No data on industrial or pharmacological use, nor standardized agronomic resistance characteristics are provided.
