The variety's flowers have a velvety texture and are colored in shades ranging from cherry-red to carmine; white stamens may be present deep in the throat. The bud diameter is 12–17 cm, and the total plant height varies from 0.9 to 1.1 m.
The flowering period occurs from July to September. The plant is suitable for solitary and group plantings and is also used as a cut flower crop.
The variety is thermophilic, has low winter hardiness, and requires the mandatory digging of corms for the winter. It prefers sunny, wind-protected areas with fertile, light soil.
