Gladiolus Flevo Laguna belongs to the small-flowered group and the Flevo series. The plant is characterized as compact or dwarf, reaching a height of 45 to 100 cm. A strong upright stem ensures lodging resistance and allows the variety to be grown without additional staking.
The flowers, 7–10 cm in size, have a lime-yellow color with a purple-red or raspberry border on the edges of the petals, which may be ruffled. Each flower stalk forms about 8 or more buds. Flowering occurs between July and September.
The variety has resistance to Verticillium wilt. Due to its morphological features, it is suitable for use in landscape design, border planting, growing in pots and containers, as well as for cut flowers.
