ActiveGladiolus L. · Gladiolus
R.A. GOEMANS
10 August 2026
The variety forms large flowers with a diameter of 7 to 15 cm, colored in bright red or crimson-red. The petals have a velvety texture and wavy edges. The height of the flower stalks usually varies between 80–140 cm, however, under certain conditions it can reach higher values.
The plant blooms 4 months after planting. The variety is not winter-hardy and requires digging up the corms for the winter. For full development, the gladiolus requires sunny areas protected from wind, loose fertile soil, regular watering, and fertilizer application during the vegetation period.
