The variety belongs to the group of early gladioli with a growing period from 85 to 100 days. The plant forms strong straight stems with bright green sword-shaped leaves; total height reaches 90–120 cm.
The flowers are red, of the large-flowered type with an inflorescence size from 10 to 14 cm. A characteristic feature of the petals is their pronounced ruffling, which is sometimes reflected in the variety name as King Redbad Frizzle.
The variety is intended for cultivation in the open field and for use as a cut flower crop. It is included in the assortment of professional Dutch producers of planting material.
