The flowers of the variety are bright red or scarlet, often with a light vein in the center. The spike-shaped inflorescences open sequentially; the flowering period covers the interval from July to October.
The plant prefers sunny, wind-protected areas with fertile, drained soil. The height of the flower stalks may require the installation of supports. In temperate climates, the corms must be dug up annually for the winter, as the variety does not overwinter in open ground.
The variety is used for group and linear plantings, flower bed design, container cultivation, and for cut flowers.
