The gladiolus variety «Mauve Muse» belongs to the large-flowered ornamental varieties. Its flowers have a lilac-lavender color that is lighter in the center and can be complemented by contrasting crimson veins. The diameter of a single flower is 10–12 cm, with the total length of the lush spike-shaped inflorescence reaching 80 cm.
The adult plant grows to 100–120 cm. The variety is characterized by strong, upright stems and blooms in the period from July to September. The plant is light-loving, needs fertile, well-drained soil, regular watering, and fertilization. In temperate climates, the bulbs require mandatory lifting for the winter.
