The variety belongs to the large-flowered group of gladiolus. The flowers have ruffled petals; up to 18–20 buds form on the flower stalk, with 7–8 opening simultaneously. According to official data, the color is blue-violet with white stripes, although descriptions of white-greenish or light lilac shades are found in various sources.
The plant height ranges from 80 to 140 cm depending on growing conditions. The period from planting to flowering takes 60–80 days; flowering usually occurs in July–August. The plant prefers sunny, wind-protected areas with well-drained soil and requires hilling for protection against lodging.
