The variety belongs to the group of large-flowered hybrids. The flowers have a triangular-funnel shape and a size of 10 to 15 cm. The coloration is characterized as dark purple, almost black in buds, and purple-lilac when opened. The petals are strongly reflexed and have ruffled edges. The plant has a light fragrance.
The height of the plant is from 100 to 130 cm. The variety is characterized by early flowering, starting in July. The crop is photophilous, prefers fertile, neutral, and well-moistened soils, such as loams or sandy loams. It requires annual lifting of corms for the winter and storage at a temperature from +12 to +15°C.
