The Sunmariba variety was obtained as a result of crossing the upright form Novalis Deep Blue with Eye and the creeping Verbena peruviana rosea. The plant reaches a height of about 16.7 cm and has lanceolate green leaves with a serrated margin.

The flowers of the variety are large, with a diameter of about 22.6 mm, facing upwards and gathered in spike-like inflorescences, numbering an average of 27 flowers each. The main color of the petals corresponds to the purple-violet shade according to the RHS 80A scale.

The plant is intended for ornamental gardening, including container cultivation and flower bed arrangement. The variety is characterized by stability of traits during vegetative propagation by cuttings.
