The variety is non-genetically modified (non-GM) and is intended for forage use. Studies note its good performance as a forage crop.
The variety is distinguished by high yield and high protein content. Work is underway to study its responsiveness to the application of microbiological inoculants, with protein and oil content in the grain varying depending on growing conditions.
Breeding work was conducted as part of a program to create drought-tolerant varieties with good digestibility performance and reliable cultivation technology.
