The soybean variety Anica, also known as Bc Anica, belongs to maturity group 0-I. The crop is used as an oilseed and protein plant; the variety is also considered in scientific papers as an object for studying isoflavone content.

The variety has repeatedly been the subject of laboratory and field studies aimed at assessing the influence of agrotechnical practices, such as nitrogen fertilization and irrigation, on plant development, thousand kernel weight indicators, and total yield.
